My brand-new Little Den Sessions are all about capturing those fleeting, heart-warming moments of wonder. Set inside a cozy, woodland-inspired den, these sessions are designed for children and families who love natural, playful photographs that feel like a storybook brought to life.

Who are Little Den Sessions for?
These sessions are perfect for children aged around 6 months to 7 years, and can also include siblings or parents if you’d like a few together. They’re all about relaxed, natural moments rather than posed photos.
How long is the session?
Each Little Den Session lasts around 30-45 minutes, the perfect amount of time for little ones without feeling rushed or overwhelming.
How long is the session?
That’s completely okay and very common. There’s no pressure to perform or “smile for the camera.” I allow plenty of time for children to warm up at their own pace, whether that means staying close to you, quietly observing, or slowly joining in the fun. Some of the most beautiful moments come from those gentle, in-between interactions.
What should my child wear?
Soft, neutral tones work beautifully - think creams, browns, soft greens, knits and layers. Bare feet are always welcome! With this in mind, the most important thing is that your little one is comfortable!
What’s included in the price?
Your session includes the shoot itself and use of the den itself.
Along with all of the edited images from your Little Den Session. I’m a firm believer in sharing the full story of your child’s time with me, and I don’t like to withhold images — every beautiful moment you see is yours to keep.
You’ll also receive a complimentary 5×7 fine art print of your choosing, so you have something tangible to treasure straight away.
Where do the sessions take place?
The sessions are held in a cozy, woodland-inspired den in Formby Beach. Full location details will be sent once your session is booked.
What happens during the session?
Your child will be free to explore, play, snuggle up with blankets, and enjoy little moments of adventure. I gently guide when needed, but mostly let the magic unfold naturally.
What about nap times?
I always try to schedule sessions around your child’s usual nap routine. If you let me know their ideal time when booking, I’ll do my best to accommodate it. If naps run a little off on the day, please don’t worry - the sessions are relaxed and flexible, and we’ll simply go at your child’s pace.
What happens if it rains?
No worries at all. The Little Den Sessions are designed to go ahead whatever the weather. The cozy den keeps everything warm and dry, and a little rain outside only adds to the woodland magic. However, if we deem it unsafe to go ahead due to the weather, we will reschedule for a future date!
